Whether this is your first child or your fourteenth, Sweet Miracles Midwifery can be there to support you through the process - from the early weeks of your pregnancy through the home birthing experience and into the early weeks of your little one's life.

Louise DeLaney delights in the ability to offer encouragement and kindness to women of all ages, and particularly to those in their birthing years. MEET THE MIDWIFE
LOUISE DELANEY, CPM

Meet LouiseThe seeds that blossomed into my love for birth were planted when I was very young. One of my earliest memories was being fascinated with my mother’s pregnant belly as she readied to welcome one of my sisters. When it came time for me to have my own children, my hunger for learning about pregnancy and birth was insatiable.

To realize the special role that women get to play in God’s creative process is humbling! The fingerprints of God are all over His design in pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. It is my great honor to serve the women and families that trust me with their care. It is my hope that all of my clients leave my care feeling loved, heard, and ministered to, and that God is glorified every step along the way.

How I Got Here
During labor with my firstborn and my interactions with my own doula, I discovered passion for doula work. This was the start of a long and rewarding season as an active labor doula and childbirth educator. My journey led me to positions of leadership in a national certifying organization, and to opportunities to train hundreds of women around the country as both childbirth educators and labor doulas. As my own two children grew, I felt convicted to lay birth work down for the sake of my family and in order to homeschool our children. Now that our homeschool years are over, the Lord has led me back into birth work, but this time as a midwife. I have completed the PEP process through North American Registry of Midwives (NARM), under the care and guidance of my mentor, Debbie Perry, of Natural Birth KC.
